The town of Woluo Town in Yutian County is known as the North China Waste Tire Treatment Center. Due to the extensive development of the industry, it has caused some pollution to the environment and aroused public concern. Yutian County was led by the County Environmental Protection Bureau. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Electric Power, Public Security, and Industry and Commerce departments fully cooperated and deployed 90 law enforcement officers. The three working groups were divided into three townships to investigate the situation. At present, 310 waste tire recycling companies have been shut down. In addition, the four electroplating plants that have been polluted have been completely powered off and the production equipment has been removed. Jianbang Industrial Co., Ltd., which belongs to the Ministry of Environmental Protection's deadline-based governance, urged it to step up rectification after it had completely stopped production.
