This project is one of the comprehensive utilization projects of magnesium and sodium resources of the Qinghai Salt Lake Group Co., Ltd. It is a key construction project of circular economy planning in the Qaidam Basin during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period. The project will be built in the Ganhe Industrial Park in Xining City. The designed annual production scale will be 400,000 tons of caustic soda and 500,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride. The application and implementation of the project is of great significance for accelerating the comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources, forming an integrated green industrial chain, promoting the development of the national economy of the province, and optimizing the industrial structure.
