Related companies' methods for new standards need timely adjustment of production. , import and sales plans.

According to the announcement, enterprises producing or importing gas-fueled ignited engines and automobiles should submit an application for approval to the Ministry of Environmental Protection in accordance with the requirements of the State Five Standard, and submit environmental protection production conformity assurance plans, annual reports, and vehicle identification codes (VIN) information. . The Ministry of Environmental Protection issues environmental protection type approval certificates for the vehicles that have passed the audit. Automobile production companies must establish and improve the environmental protection production conformity assurance system, and effectively strengthen the production process of environmental compliance management, quality control of key components of environmental protection, vehicle emission self-inspection, and so on, to ensure that the actual production and sales of vehicles meet the national five standards.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection stated that it will continue to intensify inspections and adopt regular inspections and spot checks to comprehensively strengthen the environmental protection supervision of motor vehicle manufacturers. For those who do not meet the standards, they will be ordered to make rectification within a time limit; if they still fail after the rectification, the model for environmental protection type approval of the vehicle shall be revoked and notified.
