On December 15, 2011, Oceansaver achieved a milestone in the field of ballast water treatment with the first commissioning of a ballast water treatment system for a crude oil ship in Korea.
It is reported that the 159000DWT tanker named "Ottoman Integrity" will be delivered to a Turkish shipowner Gungen Maritime & Trading by a Korean shipyard. The installed 2 sets of Oceansaver ballast water treatment system has a single set capacity of 2500m3/h, using Oceansaver's Mark. I technology, including filtration, cavitation, disinfection, nitrogen saturation, etc. The filter and cavitation unit are installed in the pump room, while the disinfection unit and nitrogen system are installed in the main room and casing area.
At the request of the shipowner, the filter was operated for more than 70 hours during the sea trial, meeting the requirements of shipyards, shipowners, classification societies, leasing parties and other parties.
