According to data released by the European Business Association Automobile Manufacturers Council (AEB AMC), sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia rose by 15% year-on-year in June, with a total of 141,084 units sold.
AEB AMC Chairman Joerg Schreiber commented: "The Russian auto market is beginning to recover at an explosive rate of growth, with a year-on-year increase of 15% in June and a 12% year-on-year increase in the second quarter. The increase was 6% over the same period, which is very close to our expectations for the whole year of 2017. In view of the recovery of the Russian market economy, AEB expects Russia's car sales to grow by 4% this year.
Russian market leader Lada Motors sales rose 23% last month, a total of 27,396 units sold; the second-ranked Kia sold 16,755 units last month, up 31% year-on-year; modern increase reached 22%, 6 A total of 14,673 vehicles were sold in the month. In June, sales ranked fourth and fifth respectively, Renault and Toyota, which sold 12,239 vehicles and 9,059 vehicles respectively, up 21% and 28% respectively.
Chinese brand sales in Russia
China's own brands sold a total of 1,330 units in Russia last month, accounting for less than 1% of total sales. Among them, Lifan from Chongqing sold a total of 1,321 units last month, a slight increase of 1% year-on-year. Chery sold a total of 605 vehicles in Russia last month, a year-on-year increase of 36%. Among other Chinese independent brands, Geely sold only 181 units last month, down 47% year-on-year; while Zotye and Changan saw large growth, but only sold 108 and 88 units last month; Dongfeng Motor and FAW last month 50 units were sold, but the year-on-year declines were 47% and 21% respectively.
Chromium carbide thermal spray powder is a type of coating material used in thermal spray processes. It is composed of chromium and carbon, with the chemical formula Cr3C2.
This powder is commonly used in applications where high wear resistance and hardness are required. It is often applied as a protective coating on surfaces that are subjected to abrasive or erosive environments, such as industrial equipment, cutting tools, and engine components.
The thermal spray process involves heating the powder to its melting point and then propelling it onto the surface to be coated using a high-velocity gas or plasma stream. Upon impact, the molten particles solidify and bond with the substrate, forming a dense and durable coating.
The chromium carbide coating provides excellent resistance against wear, corrosion, and oxidation. It also exhibits good adhesion to various substrates, including metals, ceramics, and composites. Additionally, it has a low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for applications where reduced friction and improved sliding properties are desired.
Overall, chromium carbide thermal spray powder is a versatile and effective coating material that offers superior protection and performance in demanding industrial applications.
