On April 3, Sinopec’s first intelligent pipeline, the Xindongxin Pipeline Project, was put into operation once and successfully.
The Xindongxin oil pipeline is the oil pipeline from Shengli Oilfield to Qilu Petrochemical. The pipeline runs from Dongying crude oil reservoir in the north to Linyi crude oil reservoir in the south, passes through Dongying district, Dongying district, Guangrao county and Linzi district in Zibo city. In townships, the total length of the pipeline is 88.3 kilometers, the diameter is 610 millimeters, and the design pressure is 5 megapascals.
As the first intelligent pipeline project of Sinopec, the Xindongxin Oil Pipeline has many advantages in terms of large oil transmission capacity, good environmental protection and energy saving, high pump efficiency and high level of intelligence, compared with the original Dongxin oil pipeline. The capacity will be increased from the current 3 million tons to more than 8 million tons.
Intelligentization is the salient feature of the new pipeline. The four newly-occluded valve rooms on the drinking water source along the main line can achieve emergency shutdown under emergency conditions. The pipeline monitoring system can detect less than two hours per hour. Leakage of small flow to avoid large-scale environmental pollution. At the same time, the main communication method of the pipeline is fiber optic cable, which realizes the rapid and stable transmission of daily production data.
According to reports, the original Tungxin pipeline was put into production in 1988 with a pipe diameter of 529 mm and a service life of more than 26 years. The hidden dangers such as illegal construction and pressure are serious, and it cannot meet the requirements for the production of new input devices for Qilu Petrochemical. There are cross-networks and there are major security risks.
