The Fangchenggang Iron and Steel Base Project started construction on May 28 last year with the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission, with a planned production capacity of 10 million tons. The products are mainly high-quality steels with large demand in domestic demand such as hot-rolled sheet, hot-rolled wide and thick plate, cold-rolled sheet, galvanized sheet, color-coated sheet, cold-rolled silicon steel, etc., and domestically unable to produce or yet meet the needs of national economic development. Rely on imported high-end steel.
In order to achieve the goal of achieving world-class, put into production and profitability in the implementation of Fangchenggang project, WISCO learns from the experience of world-class steel enterprise coastal base construction and the most advanced international design concept. The cold rolling project is constructed and operated according to the standards of “first-class products, first-class technology, first-class management, and first-class environmental protectionâ€. The construction covers acid rolling line, continuous retreating line, galvanizing line and corresponding supporting processes and energy public auxiliary system. The project is completed. After that, it will have an annual production capacity of 2.1 million tons, and the product will be positioned as an automobile board.
