Global sales in the first half of the year In June 2015, Jaguar Land Rover sold 39,602 vehicles worldwide, compared with 39,594 units in June 2014, a slight increase of 0.02% year-on-year. The European and American markets showed an upward trend, but the Chinese market fell into a downward trend and eventually managed to achieve year-on-year growth.
The Jaguar brand sold 7,155 global retail sales last month, and its retail sales in July 2014 were 7,595, down 5.79% year-on-year. The Land Rover brand sold 32,447 vehicles worldwide last month and retail sales of 31,999 units in June 2014, a year-on-year increase of 1.40%.
In the first half of 2015, Jaguar Land Rover's global retail sales volume was 239,212 units, down from 240,372 units in the same period last year, down 0.48% year-on-year. In the first half of the year, Jaguar's global cumulative retail sales decreased by 13.97% to 37,499 units from 43,587 units; Land Rover's global cumulative retail sales in the first half of the year increased by 2.50% from the year of 196,785 units to 201,713 units.

Sales in China fell for 7 months in June 2015. Jaguar Land Rover sold 6,242 units in the Chinese market in June 2015, a sharp drop of 45.98% year-on-year, compared with 11,554 units in June 2014. This figure is not as good as the 8,081 units sold in the UK, which means that the Jaguar Land Rover's largest single market will be on the verge of the month.
In the first half of this year, Jaguar Land Rover's cumulative retail sales in China were 45,446 units, compared with 62,479 units in the same period last year, a significant decline of 27.26% year-on-year.

In December 2014, Jaguar Land Rover sold 11,599 units in China, compared with 11,738 units in the same period in 2013, a slight decrease of 1.2% year-on-year.
