Westport Fuel Systems is the world leader in natural gas engine technology research and development. The independently developed high pressure in-cylinder direct injection technology has obvious competitive advantages and leads the development direction of high-end gas power.
For a long time, both sides have maintained good and close cooperation. According to the agreement, the two parties confirmed that they will jointly develop a six-engine direct-injection natural gas for high-pressure cylinders, which will increase the thermal efficiency of natural gas engines from the current 39% to 42.5%, which is equivalent to a 20% reduction in gas consumption.

The two parties also agreed to jointly develop a direct-injection technology for natural gas engines with high-pressure cylinders in the 3.0 version, achieving an increase in thermal efficiency from 42.5% to 45%, which is equivalent to a 40% reduction in gas consumption compared with current standards.
